Welcome!
Well, the new forums are up and running!
I see we have four people registered so far, which is a good start, even if two of them are Tony and myself! You don't have to register to post, of course, but we hope you will.
When we set about redesigning the Web site, we debated whether there would be the need for such a large forum as this, or if it would be more sensible to stick with the sort of basic message board that we had on the old site.
We decided it would be great to have a place where Blyton enthusiasts the world over can gather online and discuss their favourite author. If the forums prove to be an unqualified failure, we may well revert to a simple format, but we do hope it proves to be popular with visitors and that many people get involved.

Re: Welcome!
Ha. I just happened upon this, my very first post to the forums after I had just set it up. I really am glad that my fears at the beginning have been proved unfounded. We are going from strength to strength here! So a big thank you to all who participate.Matthew Roberts wrote:If the forums prove to be an unqualified failure, we may well revert to a simple format, but we do hope it proves to be popular with visitors and that many people get involved.

I'm not sure if you can see the same thing as me, Pete, but if you click on members just above and then click on last active and then again on last active you can see exactly how many people have been on. 28 members have logged in at some stage today and 76 have logged in this month.

Re: Welcome!
True...although we can click on 'Rank' -- and see that Mr Moonraker is ranked first!

Re: Welcome!
If I may be so bold as to surmise that since
Nigel's retirement from full time employment and becoming a 'retired' senior citizen he is now always most definitely 'always active'.
I agree Rob, Nigel is assuredly a top ranker.

I'm third - which surprised me a lot!

I must come out in defense of Nigel here, as he used to post far more before he retired as most of his posts were done at work!pete9012S wrote:If I may be so bold as to surmise that since
