Thanks Pete! Though there weren't many to choose from!!
Here's one from the cover of one of Enid Blyton's Magazines -
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

Your eBay listing said this was a fireside rug!
If I could live here on this secret island always and always and always, and never grow up at all, I would be quite happy

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure )

After much deliberation - because I found many of them very amusing, I've chosen a 'top three'.
THIRD is Shadow, with "Your eBay listing said this was a fireside rug!"
SECOND - Courtenay with a similar one - "I told you not to put the tiger skin rug in the tumble dryer..."
But in FIRST PLACE is Anita, with her simple and to the point caption - "Lawks-a-mussy, just look at my pussy!" gasped Mrs. Slocombe."
Over to you, Anita!
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'
