I always have and still do!!!
When I read Sea as a little girl I felt exactly the same as Lucy-Ann and even 30 years later I still feel wary (and always think of Lucy-Ann!) when I walk across the connecting bits!
Holiday: Virtually all the adventures in most of Enid's major series — the Famous Five, the Five Find-Outers and so on — take place during the school holidays (or "hols" ). But for the literal meaning of "holiday" as "holy day", a special festival, there's also Enid's heartwarming and engaging exploration of the origins and meanings of Christmas traditions in The Christmas Book.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)
Car: What else but Noddy and his (in)famous jalopy.

... which, as I've only realised in more recent years, I've always instinctively pictured in my head as looking something like a gigantic eucalyptus!! (Can't help it.)

Spell: The spell cast by the goblin (I think his name is Sly) to magically re-create Big-Ears' bicycle in Well Done, Noddy!:
"Bell, bell,
I weave you a spell —
Bicycle-magic is in it;
Grow, grow
Two wheels in a row,
It won't take you more than a minute!
Make, make
Pedals and brake,
Tyres and handle-bar too;
Bell, bell,
I weave you a spell —
Hollabee, rinnabee, HOO!"
One of my favourite moments in one of my favourite Noddy books!

Plum:The Christmas Book also contains an explanation of why plum pudding is called plum pudding when there aren't any plums in it!
