Happy Birthday, John! Hope you have a brilliant day full of Blytonian style pleasures!

hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

Re: Happy Birthday Lucky Star!
Thank you all so much. It is wonderful to login to these forums and find so many greetings from such good friends. I am having a wonderful time in Israel: today I have even been through a secret passage built by the Crusaders no less. Very Blytonian. I shall give a fuller report when I get back next week.
Thanks again for the birthday wishes and I can't wait for the 2nd of July.

'Go down to the side-shows by the river this afternoon. I'll meet you somewhere in disguise. Bet you won't know me!' wrote Fatty.

Belated very best wishes for a happy birthday, Lucky Star! Great to hear you are having a fabulous time in Israel, I think I know the very secret passage you mention - in the Crusader fort at Acco (Acre)? Enjoy the rest of your trip and looking forward to hearing of your experiences.Lucky Star wrote:Thank you all so much. Thanks Katharine. I had a moment of complete confusion when I saw this thread in use again. Yes I had a great time thanks. Feels like it was years ago now though.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)
