Worry not, folks. I was very much hoping to get a lively response, so no complaints.
Now to see if I can find that board game which Anita mentioned......

It's good to see you posting, Aurélien!
You can see Robert's board game with the map of Peterswood here:

It's one of a number of Blyton-based board games which can be seen in this thread:

(Actually, some of the images are not showing up for me any more but I hope that's just a temporary blip!)

These books are expensive on ebay but I see the French versions are much more affordable:

I have now placed my orders for 12 titles out of 14 titles in this series. They are all on their way to my home. I had been meaning to buy this series for so long. Now I am very happy I have bought them! Only one or two without the dust jackets. I can't wait to read them.

Not asleep, Nigel, just half-blind in one eye. I was called back into to the eye-clinic yesterday, and the ophthalmologist dictated yet another letter to our equivalent of your national health system, asking that my second cataract operation be approved.
My other eye works fine *Yay* since it was operated on last September, but it has to do 90% of my seeing.

Sorry to hear that your 'other' eye is now playing up, Aurélien. Here's hoping your second op happens sooner rather than later.

That's fantastic. I haven't seen that many for sale.sixret wrote:I have now placed my orders for 12 titles out of 14 titles in this series. They are all on their way to my home.
I hope you don't have to wait too long for the operation and that it is successful, Aurélien.
