Re: Online dating again
I met my wife through a discussion forum (ice hockey) about 6 years ago now, does that count as on-line dating?

I met my partner online, we have been together for years now. When we argue I always say, I should have simply ignored her post

Re: Online dating again
Actually, I recommend online dating. I met far fewer weasels and weirdos online than in real life.

You did think Moonraker and I were married. Thank you, Zaidi, for making that assumption - it gave me some much needed laughter!zaidi wrote:Another things to add has any of the 2 persons from E.B society ever married or dated?
As for your question, I actually don't know!

It boosted my ego as well! Icey is ten. Don't some girls marry at 12 in India?

Disasterous Dating
I just know that when some people meet people online (like we kids are told not to do!) sometimes people lie about who they are. They could put they are a nice loving kind person, when they are a meat-axe murderer!

Re: Disasterous Dating
Is that someone who murders meat with an axe or someone who uses a meat axe to murder people?Icecream342 wrote:I just know that when some people meet people online (like we kids are told not to do!) sometimes people lie about who they are. I sometimes wonder if you are an axe murderer Icecream.

Re: Disasterous Dating
Actually you are quite right Ice Cream. It is highly dangerous to meet people who you know only from the internet. There have been hundreds of cases of people, especially girls, who met up with an online friend only to find that they were somebody completely differant and some people have been murdered in such scenarios. You are right not to do it, at least until you are well into your twenties.Icecream342 wrote:I just know that when some people meet people online (like we kids are told not to do!) sometimes people lie about who they are.
