The Adventure series in hardback as per the 1970s

Post by Belly »

Hi

I am after tracking down and purchasing these books I remember in childhood.

They were very thick and I think had illustrations by Stuart Tresillian (sp?). They had quite a traditional feel and were stocked by my local library circa 1977.

Can anyone help?

Hi

What is DWS? How much are you asking for the set? Thanks.

I would guess dws is dust wrappers.
On ebay they are mostly called DJ (dust jackets) but I have also seen DW (dust wraps) as well.
I would guess this is what Liz means :)

Hi , yes dw =dj
The jackets are really lovely--Stuart T, as you said.Well there are 8 books, and I really wanted £20 each but if you had full set would sell for £15 each, post free. So much depends on condition, and these are great.!
Anyway, please let me know and all the very best, liz
