Dear sir,
It is a humble and a kind request made by me. That is we can know our talents if you all have some competitions and give awards and ceryificates to the users. The competitions can be a poem or short story or something like that.
Yours,
obediently
Sanojaa Thiyagarajah.

Suggestion about competitions
It's a great pride that I get in my own society after joining the Enid Blyton Society.

I like the idea of having competitions, Sanojaa. If it's not possible to give out certificates etc, they could be just for fun. It would be interesting to read people's poems etc. A caption competition is another possibility. An illustration from an Enid Blyton book could be put up somewhere on the site and people could send in apt and amusing captions.

Well, I've read rather a lot of Enid Blyton if that's what you mean, but so have others ! And there's always more to learn. I was amazed yesterday to discover from Kitty's post that there is a real dessert called Alma Pudding !
Anyway, Sanojaa was talking mainly about creative competitions like story and poetry-writing, etc. We already know we have some poets in our midst - George@Kirrin and Ming spring to mind, and I'm sure there are others.

That would be fair I think. The winner of a comppition could make a new compotion and it goes on and on.Matthew Roberts wrote:The Society wouldn't be able to give out certificates or prizes, but you are more than welcome to set up competitions in the Games forum, and to run and judge them yourselves.
I'm not quite sure how it would work, though. The winner decides on the winner of the following competition?
