Question About Signature/Avatar

Post by LuvMyBlyton »

Hello, I hope this is the right forum to ask this in, I just want to make sure of something. Are my signature/avatar OK? I spent forever searching for something small that I could legally use. Anyway, just let me know, and I can edit accordingly!

Thanks for any input, much appreciated :) I understand that certain things are no-no's , I'm just not sure of what they all are as of yet.

They look fine to me, LuvMyBlyton. I really don't think anyone is going to come down on you for using a Blyton image or illustration as an avatar/signature. :)

If you look at the top of the page there is a Profile icon. If you click on that it will take you into your profile, which you completed when you joined the site. Simply scroll down the page and then the delete the year where you have given details of your date of birth.

I have a question: what is the rule on signatures? I run a small European forum and usually put a link to it in my sig on other forums I go to but I always ask first to see if it's acceptable. Is it okay to do that here?

Hmm nobody answered this one so I am gonna go ahead and do it and if it's not okay, I will undo it.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Time to die.

Europe - politics, literature, religion, current events, etc etc. There's also international sections. It's generally family friendly or I wouldn't link to it. Anyway, if I'm not supposed to someone tell me and I'll remove it but I've read the FAQs and can't find anything about not linking to other sites :)

Sounds as if Joe from the Yahoo! Group would be at home here.

Sorry, Moose. Yes, I have no problem with you linking to that site in your signature.
