Green cloth with outlines of the brownie kids in brown, like silhouettes. My grandmother passed about 5 years ago and her home was ransacked by various relatives. We are not sure who went in and took what, but my eldest sister has to have this book since it brings her fond childhood memories of my grandmother. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
All the best,
Nicole

Which sadly won't help, as any cloth boards are hidden by dustwrappers! I think the book you are looking for is almost certainly one of the Newnes reprints from 1951. My own copy just has plain green cloth boards with no picture, but other editions might have had a picture of the brownies. All copies of this reprint were undated and the same inside, so it is impossible to say which edition you might be looking for.Ming wrote:I refer thee to the Cave of Books!
