Posts disappearing! (Now I know why...)

Post by Philip Mannering »

Yesterday when I checked my posts, it showed 200. Now today, I posted two more posts early in the morning. So it should have been 202, right? (Counting this one 203.) But it still is 200! (Counting this one 201.) And at the end of yesterday I also saw that I had posted 7 posts that day. But when I count now, it's 5! Where were the two missing posts? :?

And why did this happen? :?: I didn't delete any of my posts, I know.

"An ice cream," said Snubby promptly. "Who's coming to buy one?" The Rubadub Mystery

It could be Philip that you posted a games thread that Anita pointed out was already up and running, and so Anita has probably very kindly deleated it so that it doesn't confuse. Also Anita has again tidied up the Second World War thread that was doubled up. I guess this where the missing two threads were. :D

Thanks, Julie. I deleted the duplicate Games thread at your request, Philip. Can't help chuckling at the thought of you puzzling over those missing posts, though! :P

I should do some detecting myself! Otherwise, I might never become a good Find-Outer!

Yes, Ming: it is a Mystery of the Missing Messages. A rather poor one, though; nothing to puzzle about any longer! :?

Update: Now my post count is 203! It was a matter of few hours when it would be up to that, I knew. Can't see why I was so worried, then. Just two posts!
