"So my Mother told me that when I was two years old!" said Julian and the others giggled.

On a standby, dear fellow! I was in a response car, Saturday night, and these are kept out most of the time, at locations where cover is minimal. In this way, Government targets have a better chance of being achieved (75% of Category A calls being reached in under 8 minutes). The Poster with Regrets wrote:Why are you stuck in a standby, Nigel?!

Sometimes when looking back at old posts I think “did I really write that?!” but then most posts are probably not read again after the first few days.

Re: Deleting a post
Why should you want to delete them? I know many of my posts make perfect sense to me when I write them, yet when I read it later on, I think, "sheesh, that's just rubbish!" and get a good laugh at myself. I'd like many of my posts to be deleted, but I'd prefer they stay on the forum more, because sometimes rereading them reminds me of how I've grown, and sometimes I just can't help calling myself an idiot. Just what is needed for stuck-up people like me.
I'm pretty sure I know why you want them to be deleted, Julian - it's not a very good reason!

You stuck-up, Ming, never! I think what you are saying is that we all get older and wiser and perhaps it is a good idea to leave older posts, just to show how we have matured!

Yes, that is what I mean Tony, you have put my thought to words perfectly! Strange that I couldn't phrase that!

Yes, it most certainly is a spammer and they had already posted four times before I noticed them. I don't know who activated the account, but it wasn't me. I always check email addresses before activating an account and the minute I checked this one I realised it was a spammer and deactivated the account immediately!

It's just our Chinese friends plugging the Olympics, I would imagine. Pretty obvious really; we have been spared Spam for a long time now. Which of our administrators is the Weakest Link?
