Logging in
Maybe this is just me being really dim (nothing new there!) but over the last few days I've had to log in to the forums but before it just used to do it automatically. I keep selecting the "log me in automatically" box but it still does it. Any ideas, anyone?

Sounds like a corrupt cookie to me, Jen. Try deleting temporary internet files and cookies, that should solve the problem. I had this problem with Firefox when I started using it, it worked for me. There is a Delete all board cookies link at the bottom of the page. That might help...

Yes, but remember, it will log you out too - so try that after reading all the new posts or you'll lose them in the list.Moonraker wrote:There is a Delete all board cookies link at the bottom of the page. That might help...
You still can read the new messages from the forum index, though.

Re: Logging in
I read all the posts from the Forum Index. I dont like the new posts since last visit facility, I find that I get a better overall perspective of whats going on on the site by going to the board index then selecting a forum and then opening a topic. If its a multi page topic I usually know roughly what point to click on anyway. Maybe I'm just a weirdo.Ming wrote: You still can read the new messages from the forum index, though.

I find that if you go for Board Index, then when that comes up press Active posts, you get a good selection of what is going on. If you just go for new posts, you only get one or two of the latest subjects.
