Just wanted to ask a question.
If I start a thread, for example a poll, and want many contributions, is it allowed to advertise them on other threads?
Thanks,
Adventure

Re: Question about threads
I think you should be careful with "advertising" new threads, polls etc. It might annoy people and thereby produce the opposite effect to what you intend - they might decide to boycott the "advertised" thread or poll.
Best to just let people find the thread and participate of their own accord. At least, that's my view. But maybe check to see what the mods think and how much "thread advertising" they're prepared to allow.

Re: Question about threads
I don't think it needs advertising at all. New threads always come up in View New Post searches, so that should be enough, in my opinion.
