No, not a problem with your computer. It was a problem with the forums themselves, but you shouldn't be receiving those strange messages anymore.

However, some more downtime is going to be necessary as I go fixing a few things, so expect to see more messages and the "This board is currently available" message at some point. Nothing to worry about -- just me tinkering away.

I don't know what is happening.

Edit: Is this the kind of problems Robert and Kitty experienced? :?

My screen looks the same as it normally does - the only odd thing I can see is that Ming isn't online at the moment!

If you mean the screenshot, look closely. I was online.

And if you mean when you posted the message, I was out. :x Aunt's second birthday (don't ask me how  )

Has anyone else noticed that if you click on a link that someone has posted it replaces the page instead of opening in a new window?

Yes same as Ming thought, my computer gets blamed for almost everything. :(
I figured that if I press the back button and it will take me back to this site.
There is always something else new to learn.

:? Links to other websites you mean? I thought they always opened in new windows...

I prefer them to open in a new tab, one of the benefits of Firefox. It was replacing the current page, but I believe that was a gremlin, and Matt duly exterminated it.

Incidentally, anyone heard from Raci? It's been months since she last visited. I enjoyed her posts and humour so much! It's a great pity she can't visit the forums regularly. :(

Thank you to all my many, many fans! However, as I have said many times before, it is the quality of posts which matter (I believe I qualify on both counts here); I have never read a post by MJE as I don't think he has ever posted, but let me tell you, he is a legend in Blyton circles!

My great friend and ally from Bangladesh also qualifies on both counts. I am so happy to be amongst such legends as Anita, Robert, MJE, Tony, Keith, Viv, LS, VS, and so many others that I haven't the hours in the day to credit.
