Ahhh our lovely header is back. Thanks Matt and Keith the place is just like home now. :D I'm still finding it a bit slow, I'm going to try Peppermint Peppy's method of deleting all board cookies in a moment. I've also noticed that when i load a page it appears for a few seconds and then iy sort of "blinks", and the aspect or layout changes slightly. :? Does that make any sense? Its not a great big deal, just a little annoying.

How do we do that please? I went into my profile and couldn't see the options you mention. I am really not good at technology - and can't see those options anywhere.
This is a Green Knight Book which means that it is a book by one of the most popular authors of all.

Hugs for Keith, then! :D

I like Anita's idea of a postcard too!

By the way, thanks Anita and Tony for finding out about the favourite book/series and characters things - I hadn't noticed it!

Gosh - to think that I actually managed to spot something that Ming hadn't noticed! :o  To be honest, I only knew about those options because I saw them filled in on one of Matt's posts!

Anyway, I'm going to take a leaf out of your book, Ming, and add a few more of my favourite characters.

Another handy feature I just noticed while posting in another thread is that, if someone has posted a new message in the same thread while you've been composing yours, you get notified of that so that you have a chance to modify your message to fit in with the new post if necessary.

What do you mean, "behind the times"? Your timezone is the standard, man!

Thank-you Ming! By the way, you are meant to name your favourite character, not a whole list, Anita!

 Anita took the idea from me - I compiled a whole list in the first place!

I should think you didn't read the thread properly - Anita's mentioned "she'll take a leaf out of my book and add her favourite characters" - well well, Nigel, how you do blast those who don't read all the threads correctly - now you didn't read it correctly yourself!

My dear child, I suggest you need to sharpen your reading skills. Cast you eyes to the right - it clearly says:

I am glad to see you're all adding your favourite books and characters! I only added those options yesterday, and you've already found them. :D

I feel like a parent.

Yeah, you can add more than one book, series or character, if you like. Just not too many or it'll look messy. ;)

Taken from Tony's post here:

I quote:
Tony wrote:I am actually a total duffer when it comes to these things (a good Swallows and Amazons word there!) - the forums are entirely Matt's baby, but at present he is away from the pram and the toys are being hurled out! :D :D
So Matt, call yourself a parent!

By the way, thanks for letting us list more than one book/series/character. :D

You might (and I'm not saying you have) have won a battle, Ming; but you certainly have not won the war.
