You know that quite well! Remember.... the name calling, hidden users, quarrels and um...... better not.

Won't say it straight out, we've been put on our honour not to mention that.

Don't ask me why, but that brings to mind the Monty Python sketch when Eric Idle pays John Cleese £5 to have an argument.

Ah, but that wasn't an argument, it was the automatic contradiction of everything the other person was saying. An argument is a series of statements designed to prove a logic one way or the other.

*pause*

No, it isn't.

Yes, it is.

No, it isn't.....

 If I wasn't just about to go out the door, I could see myself being drawn into a time consuming but high entertaining exchange of posts.

Incidentally Ming, I was a bit late meeting my friend

However when I told him it was because I had been swapping messages on an Enid Blyton web site with a 12(?) year old girl living in Bangladesh, about a 1970s Monty Python TV sketch, he did roar with laughter.

It does sound a bit surreal! 8) :)

Oh no, it's just that I was only about 85% sure it was 12 rather than 13, and if you leave the 'submit a post' page to check something elsewhere whilst writing a post, what you've already written gets lost (unless I'm doing something wrong).

I was pretty sure you were 12, but I'm a bit of a stickler for not writing something as fact unless I'm very sure of it! 8)

No you're not!

Sorry, time's up. That'll be another five pounds.

I'm sorry?

If you want to go on arguing you'll have to pay another five pounds.

Oh, but that was never five minutes just then!

Yes it was.

No it wasn't.

I'm sorry, if you want to go arguing, that'll be another five pounds.

All right then. Here you are. So...?

So what?

That was never five minutes just then.

I'm sorry, I'm not allowed to argue unless you pay.

I just paid!

No you didn't.

Yes I did!

No you didn't.

Yes I -- oh, this is stupid!

No it isn't.

Yes it is.........
