Er, this is a joke, right? I can't tell with Nigel these days!

Only these days?!

For non-Yahooers, I wrote in a post on the Yahoo! Enid Blyton Group the following, in reply to Malory Towers discussion.

"Yes, I've read them all. In fact, I'm so saturated with MT that I've started to
wear skirts and tunics."

I think you're the one, Matt, that wrote (to Keith) "So this Sarah isn't your sister and she certainly isn't my sister. Gosh. You don't think it's Nigel in disguise, do you? Nigel disguised as a girl disguised as Keith. Okay, perhaps that's stretching it a bit."

Hence, it seemed to me that my secret cross-dressing fetish is now common knowledge!

And, before the Select Committee discuss this in their top-secret forum, I was only joking!!

The Yahoo! Group is very secretive, only members can do anything, and same for the "secret forum". As they both have the same members, it's a wonder that all the "secret posts" are not flying everywhere!

Don't worry Nigel, teachers in secret rooms aren't usually discussing their pupils, they are snacking and chatting! Or perhaps that's only the teachers in my school....

I'm just joking!

Can whoever keeps hiding my badge please return it to me, I'm sick of making new ones.

I've not posted on this yet, though feel I should raise my head above the parapet and confess that t'was me who suggested the private area.

The primary reason for the private area is to get posts out of public sight which are distasteful or downright pornographic. This enables the users account to be deleted as well as the opportunity for their IP address to be banned from the site. Leaving them in the public view before action is taken can be harmful to the computers of the curious as well as the eyes of the innocent. Many of these sights have viruses or spyware on them, so they need getting out of where site members can be hurt. Also, for the reputation of the site, it doesn't look good to first time users browsing the forum to be invited to a site guarranteed to keep her satisfied all night.

It also allows for faster development of the site as we can discuss suggestions (like perfectly sane ones such as devote the entire site to the 78 series of the F5  ) and get the ball rolling - eg the Blyton on TV section that's sprung up.

This is one of 3 sites I work on and all have staff areas for the reasons stated above.

Nige... mate... fellow Blue Crew... Friends?

*Wanders off feeling dejected and spurned by those she tried to help*

Come on Timmy, let's go for a walk...

Come on George, surely you know we were joking? It is a very good thing you all were doing, of course we are all grateful to you, but we were just joking in the end. *sigh* Guess we shouldn't have.

"Can I tag along with you?" asked Anne timidly.

I can understand Bangla, you know, and I don't think Tony is going to be pleased when I tell him all the names you two have been calling him. :D

Oh, you fibber! You can't! You understood it all wrong! What we said was genuinely funny and no offense to anyone! If you really can understand Bangla, say what this means:

Ghorir dike takiecho, Ming? Koyta baje dekhecho? Shara din dekha jabe jhimaccho! This is what my mum says to me everyday...

Now that's a good answer! I've taught Banlga to someone! I can't believe it! I had failed to teach Matthew Barley, whom I've met and actually performed with, and failed, but I've taught Nigel, whom I've never met but an hoping to meet!! :D

Yes ,and this is very well.
That makes criticism receivablier. At least for me. I also can understand the arguments of George but please consider that expressing of emotions are life.
Certainly cultivated in here :!:
In my opinion these forums are also a mark of a very special thing.
People rib one another. But never in a tasteless form.

I'm happy that there is group of people which makes the work,
so that I can enjoy the forums.

At this way........

Thank you.Well done.
