i shall probably regret asking this, but what does sticky mean at the beginning of a topic?

It means it's permanently at the head of the page and won't fall down the thread lists even if it hasn't been posted in for ages

. Only mods and admins can sticky threads.

I don't think so Moosy. When I started a topic in the Journal Forum of your Europeforum, I got options - post this as sticky topic or normal topic.

Really? That's very odd, you shouldn't be able to. Have you actually tried it tho? I think you would get a message saying you couldn't but I dunno for sure

I still am. I started another sticky thread, but deleted it as it is useless to do that several times. I am also able to make my sticky topics normal again - what IS happenning?!
