A meet-up in Beaconsfield?

Did you attend the last event? Are you going to the next Day?

Sorting a date which will suit everyone might be tricky unless we go for October when holidays are over - say Saturday 10 October. It would be nice and Autumny and much quieter on the roads. Alternatively, we could set out some dates and ask everyone to vote:
5 September
6 September
19 September
20 September
10 October
11 October

I could hopefully manage either 5th/6th September or 10th/11th October. Although the October date would probably suit me better.

A Saturday would probably be better than a Sunday because public transport is often poor on Sundays.

I can't do either the 3rd/4th or 10th/11th of October, as I'll be on holiday in Cornwall then. :( The other weekends in October would probably work for me.

Does it have to be a weekend. What about the middle of the week?

I could do a week day if it was during the school holidays, as long as I could bring my daughter with me. If it was a weekend, a Saturday would be preferable to a Sunday, as there are more trains, also Sundays tend to have maintenance work on the lines, and I hate having to transfer to buses.

I can do a weekday too, except in the last week of September or first week of October.

I remember our last Society meet-up (at the Spade Oak) was on a Sunday and it happened to be about the one day of the month that I had a prior commitment I couldn't get out of!

Never tried this before but I've seen it recommended. I've used Doodle to set up a calender and I've selected every weekend in September and the first two in October (I know Sally only listed some of those dates but I couldn't see why the other were missed.) Anyone who's interested in going can use this link to select the days they can go? That way you can all see it clearly and pick the day the most people can attend. In theory!!

Ok I've put my choices in Fiona's calender. I notice Sally's list of dates did not include my 12th September but Fiona's did which seems fairer to me. 10th of October is probably possible for me too.

Count me in. Would help if it was the weekend I wasn't working so I wouldn't have to request time off and use my holiday.

Shall add my dates to the poll.

I'll pop my dates in when I can get to my calendar. I noticed a few have ticked the 12th September, but for me that is out I'm afraid.

I'll know more in a weeks time.

I didn't include 12 September as I can't make that weekend - already have a few commitments in September and October. Do hope we can find a common date to suit the majority.

I'm afraid the first Saturday I can do in September is the 26th or Sunday 27th.

During October it would have to be around 17th/18th October if it's a weekend.

I didn't realize I was so busy!

I could also probably do 17/18 October if those dates are better for others - perhaps they could be added to the poll?

I've added those dates now. It's showing question marks for those of you who've already voted but you should be able to revote? The Poll.
