Journal 66

Post by Rob Houghton »

It's 'clickerty click' for the next Journal - number 66. Looks like it will soon be with us, as I know Tony doesn't put it up these days until its imminent. :-D

Looks great as always, and I'm glad to see Tony has managed to fill 84 pages, as he told me earlier in the year that this might prove a problem, with so little contributions. Always good to see so many new articles, and some different writers too! :-)

hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes

"Illicit Nights with Enid"?? Now that's one we'll all be wanting to read just to find out...

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Famous Five TV Series 1978 – Part 1: by Tim Venning (32)
Looks good to me. :D
And Tony's editorial is always a great intro. But, with the other articles easily overlooked.

Can’t wait to read another uncollected stories by Enid Blyton! :D

Tony has created columns that have become my favourites like Enid Blyton Stories from the Roaring 20s, Book Page, Eileen SoperIllustration from Pennant and Uncollected Stories from Enid Blyton’s Magazine. :D :D

I wonder whether Vain Miranda and Fairyland Tales are another uncollected stories.

I really hope that another column will be created by Tony for uncollected stories from Sunny Stories For Little Folks in the magazine or being uploaded in the website in the near future. That will be a treat for sure. :D

I look forward to reading articles by others as well. :D

Tony looks to have done a great job with the journal as always.

I haven't been able to contribute to the last couple or to the board recently due to some personal disasters, but I hope to be active again in the future.
