Kidrak is very close to oludeniz, but is much quieter and unspoilt. The lady in the little cafe only speaks Turkish so we have been trying out our very basic Turkish on her!

Re: Journal 65
I only applied to join the Society on Tuesday evening and today (now yesterday as it's past midnight) I received my first copy of the latest Journal in the post. That's efficiency for you. Thanks Tony Cunningham. edit: sorry, Tony Summerfield.
Unfortunately I'll have to wait a few days to read it though as I am now awaiting on some reading glasses as I had my eyes tested today following two cataract operations in the past seven weeks and whilst I now have perfect distance vision, small print is currently a little difficult as my old glasses are now utterly useless.
I can look at the pics though.

Nice to see you've joined the Society, Boatbuilder, and I had to grin, (sorry) at Tony's changed name.

Thanks for pointing that out, Julie, I really don't know where I got that from, but I've now added an edit to the post.Julie2owlsdene wrote:Nice to see you've joined the Society, Boatbuilder, and I had to grin, (sorry) at Tony's changed name.
As you obviously read my post above on here early today about my eyes, I'm going to make that my excuse.

Re: Journal 65
Well, given that Cunningham is the real name of 'Bill Smugs' in the 'Adventure' books, I'd have thought it was the perfect pseudonym for our Tony!

I do assure you Daisy it was a total error and now I wish I had thought of that Rob, when I made my excuse.
