I think remaining anonymous is a matter of personal choice, because some people may have good reasons for remaining anonymous, but I also think that knowing where a person is from can help to break down barriers and get rid of pre-concieved ideas we might have about other cultures.

I think that's one of the best things about the 'world wide web' - it joins us together and makes the world a smaller place. It brings together people from different cultures, religions and races.

Remaining anonymous doesnt really help to break down these barriers.

We are all from the same place, after all: planet earth!

Hmm...the journal sounds really interesting. I really want to read it, especially Ming's article, but I still haven't suscribed to the Society.
