Journal 33

Post by Tony Summerfield »

Journal 33 is currently at the printers. I am hoping it doesn't give birth whilst it is there as at 84 pages it was looking decidedly on the stout side when it left me!

It's a big 'un! It managed to squeeze through my letterbox without getting stuck, however. Thanks, Tony!

I have only read Ming's article so far. What a wonderful, well-written piece, Ming, and what an intrepid traveller you are! I am glad you enjoyed your time in England.

Twins at St. Clare's perhaps? :P But I'm also looking forward to it. My copy has a bit further to travel though ...

Matt the title at the top of the post seems to be going all over the place, some posts have it and others don't - a bit odd!

My copy of Journal 33 arrived this morning, making an enormous noise as it crashed through the letterbox! I have not read it fully but it appears to be packed end to end with quality as always.

Mine just arrived this morning too.

Only had time to pick it up and take it to work with me so haven't yet read. But it has a lovely cover!
This is a Green Knight Book which means that it is a book by one of the most popular authors of all.

Mine arrived today - fabulous. What incredible value my membership provides. Desperately sorry that I was unable to attend the society day this year - the first one I have missed for a long LONG time - but Mings article is excellent.
Thank you

My copy has arrived, nearly broke the letterbox as it squeezed through. It also looks to be absolutely bursting with great articles. So far I've only just skimmed through Ming's article - great piece of writing Ming, but I'll attend to the rest later. :D

Finally managed to read Journal 33, almost as long as War and Peace. Ming's article was excellent, a very good piece of writing.

Anita Bensoussane's article about "The Children at Green Meadows" took me back a bit. I must have read this story back in 1976 but up until now had forgotten all about it. Amazing how much of the plot I can still remember now my memory has been jogged.

Curiosity killed the cat, I know, but you definitely made it.

Is it difficult to become a member of the society if you do not live in the UK? And what about the payment?
