I paid just 1p for this book from amazon - plus a modest delivery charge.
Anyone got it? I think it's from 1992.
Normally a bit too 'recent' a Blyton for me, but for a 1p I thought it was worth a punt!

That’s up there for value for money with my 1st Ed Smugglers Top with good dustcover for $5! Whoohoo!!
May many more such opportunities present themselves
It looks like a very nice anthology of stories - I’m getting quite fond of the story books, whether original or later editions of material from various magazines and journals. If I had access to more of Enid’s early writing I’d love to do an omnibus anthology representing some of the best of items from all of her sub-genres.
Dream on…

I wouldn't get out of bed for a penny, let alone pack up a book and post it off. Seems like a good deal, Pete.

Well I totally agree - I would only get out of bed if I absolutely had to spend a penny!

An absolute bargain, Pete! I like the look of the illustrations. I have a few Enid Blyton books with internal black line drawings by Paul Crompton but I'm not sure whether I have anything with coloured internals.

That looks fantastic, Pete! Gosh, if I could get my hands on such a beautiful book I'd be willing to really push the boat out and stretch to 2p for it, at least!! Well done and thanks for sharing some of those gorgeous illustrations with us.
