What about The Happy House Children books? They have a dog and a cat in them. Also The Enid Blyton Storybook for Fives to Sevens.

I notice that on BookFinder.com (my go-to site for second-hand books where you are directed to the sites that have the books you're after) there are 3 copies of 'Boys' and Girls' Circus Book' up world-wide at the moment, one of them on AbeBooks in the UK. The preferred editions are the ones with the Hilda McGavin illustrations.

Thankyou guys

Maybe your daughter would like The Buttercup Farm Family. You've mentioned The Caravan family but I don't know if you meant the whole series? After all there are quite a lot of animals on the farm.

My top recommendation would be The Adventures of Pip - a first class introduction to UK natural history, all through the eyes of a pixie.

Thanks Hannah, could try that one....
I'm getting confused with all these farms... I thought the cherry tree farm series was different to willow farm?
Meanwhile she's LOVING Bimbo and Topsy. Have to edit out the smack botties though

The children go to stay on Cherry Tree farm with relations, then in the second and third books they are now living on their own farm, their father having decided to take up farming.

I'm glad Bimbo and Topsy is going down well, Lizzer. I have happy memories of reading that as a youngster.
