That's great - although I did smile at the phrase 'fantastic new illustrations'...

It's great that there's to be an Enid Blyton book for World Book Day - and it will help promote the new Famous Five illustrator. I just wish that something less obvious than the Famous Five had been chosen. An Enid Blyton nature selection might have been good, containing stories and poems and nature notes. Or how about a collection of humorous stories, e.g. uncollected or rarely-used tales featuring characters like Binkle & Flip, Mister Meddle and Simple Simon? Alternatively, has the Galliano's Circus story from Enid Blyton's Omnibus! been used in recent years?
