Is that Clapham Junction? 
That looks exactly like the sort of train that used to run on the Waterloo to Reading line (via Ascot) a few years ago, but I haven't seen any of them for a long time.
Not sure what that bloke on the far platform is doing, meanwhile, but he doesn't look like he's minding the gap...

It is very irresponsible for the man and child to be standing over the yellow line.
This train is 458030, a class Class 458 (also known as 4Jop). It is in South West Trains livery, now operated by South Western Railway on services from London Waterloo to Reading (Correct, Courtenay!), and Ascot to Guildford. It is indeed pictured at Clapham Junction, and is standing alongside platform 4.

I must admit, those particular trains only stood out to me (I used to live on the Waterloo to Reading line a few years ago) because, at least at the time, they had the nicest-sounding young gentleman's voice for the automated station announcements. I wouldn't have minded meeting the chap they used for the recording...
