Abi.
Still trialling other writers, but will eventually go back to reading a bit of Blyton! Just too many books...
Occasionally will pop in! xx

1st Ed. of Five Go Adventuring Again, Hodder and Stoughton. No DJ. I bought it for £10.00 + £3.35 P&P from Abebooks. Actually my 4th copy of that book. Not too bad a bargain.
In came the Taggertys. They were clean, except Biddy knees looked like she had been crawling half a mile in some muddy place.

I got just yesterday 'Bicycle Magic'. It is a collection of lots of different stories. £1.00 from the charity shop! (hardback as well)

Re: What Enid Blyton book have you recently bought?
I just picked up two Enid Blyton Pocket Library books today from a charity shop.
Red Cap and the Broom stick Witch and The Disappointed Sprites.
I also got Slowcoach the Tiresome Brownie. My Granddad bought me these as he used to be a great fan of Blyton when he was a child. We share many an interesting conversation about our favourite Blyton books and whenever he sees any he gets them for me!

Enid Blyton's Big Bedtime Book.

For the grand sum of £1. One of my best ever bargains I think.

A great find, John.
'Go down to the side-shows by the river this afternoon. I'll meet you somewhere in disguise. Bet you won't know me!' wrote Fatty.

The last I bought books was from Flipkart, when I had got a Rs. 1500 prize in a bloggers competition. Got the 3,4,5,6,7, and 8th Adventure Series, Folk Of The Faraway Tree, Goosebumps 'The Haunted School' and a Candy Apple Book. Pretty cool. I just finished reading them all a few weeks ago. My recent book is Banshee Towers (re-reading for the 3rd time!)
