Re: What Enid Blyton book have you recently bought?
I have finally found a cheap edition of "Dolly - Gesamtausgabe" (Malory Towers, all in one) and bought it. I didn't need it because I have all single books that were published in it, but just for completeness reasons - or if I was asked to spend some time on an island and was only allowed to take three books with me.

You don't need a reason to buy yet another Enid Blyton book.

Just bought these two books for £2.95 on ebay.
I thought that was a good price.
I only have a paperback version of the biography, so this hardback is a welcome edition to my library.
The booklet looks very interesting too.

A real bargain, Pete!
I bought the Nicholas Reed booklet at an Enid Blyton Day years ago - a lovely addition to anyone's collection.
I don't have that particular version of Barbara Stoney's Enid Blyton - the Biography but I like the portrait on the back. Is it a first edition?

Yes, I think it is Anita.
I will put a plastic cover on it and then re-read it!

What year was it first printed, Pete? I like the photo on the back cover, too.

I know when it was first published, Pete. I just wondered if your copy was a first edition or a reprint.

Thank you Katharine.
I've been after this edition for ages, but it has always been a bit pricey.
I wonder if I can sell it on to John Pickup for a tenner, he's loaded!!

A lovely find, Judith! I've just looked at the cover in the Cave and it's delightful. I've never come across any of the Hackett's Little Gift Books.
