Sadly, I never did send off for a Famous Five Club badge. I needed to save my money so I could buy books! If I'd seen someone wearing the badge, however, I may well have said hello.

In London I'd regularly read Blytons whilst visiting the local hostelry in Archway.

Received only one comment from an interested patron who happened to pass by.
