Here it is! What an amazing adventure we had!

Lol! That boat doesn't look very sea-worthy! Glad you all got home safely in the end!

How were you introduced to Blyton and what was your first book?

I started reading early, tutored at home before I started school, and had marvellous series of Enid Blyton books to encourage my progress, beginning with the Enchanted Wood trilogy.

How many books are in your Blyton collection?

150 at the last count.

What is your best bargain Blyton find?

A couple of Famous Five hardbacks at £1 each at a local garden centre, bonus was I hadn't read either!

In which book do you wish you could have been in?

All the Adventure series, most of all CIRCUS

Which character is most like you?

Darrell in the Malory Towers series resonates!

What book or series do you wish they would make into a film?

Farflung adventures such as the SECRET books, most of all Killimooin

If you could have met Enid what would you have asked her?

Where she got her ideas and inspiration from.

List your favorite Blyton books

The Enchanted Wood
The Adventure series, best of all MOUNTAIN and CIRCUS
Famous Five
"Secret" series
"Its a magic wood!" said Fanny suddenly.

I'll have you know I prepared most thoroughly for that trip - by reading The Sea of Adventure and at least three of Arthur Ransome's Swallows and Amazons books!

It's the captain that's causing the most concern.

What's wrong with Ming, John? With two experienced members like Anita and Nigel...

I had Nigel down as the captain Wolfgang. On second thoughts you may be right; Ming wold probably make the best skipper. :D

I thought you had Anita down as the Captain, John. Judging by the way the boat is sinking at the back, I thought Anita must have put on a lot of weight!

I seem to remember you had your cans of beer stacked at that end of the boat! :P

Ah, that was it, then. Speaking of beer, I have just visited a local brewery for a tasting session, and have ordered a barrel for Christmas. :D
