I've save my dust jacket- Fifth at Malory Towers and would have to pick up my second impression- Five on a Hike, because that's one of my favourite FF's.
Please don't ask me to choose between the two!!!! Both are brilliant!!!

"You're so sharp you'll cut yourself one day!" Hunchy said going to the door
"So my Mother told me that when I was two years old!" said Julian and the others giggled.

I would want to save all my treasured collection of Blytons.
But if I really had to save one, I think it would be The Boy Next Door. I fell in love with that book when I read it at a young age, and it still holds a special place inside me.

Julian gave an exclamation and nudged George.

Like most Enid Blyton Fans I would try to save them all - but if it was only one my favourite would have to be In the Fifth at Malory Towers - I just love the dustjacket .

Re: Which would you save?
This is really difficult. I would be torn between Valley Of Adventure and Rubadub Mystery. They are both masterpieces but as my copy of Valley is a first edition I would choose that one.

Gosh, what a tough one. I think I would save my copy of Real Fairies, for a purely financial reason. I got it at a fairly reasonable price, and think it would be the hardest one to replace.
Although I'd feel guilty about not saving a couple of Secret Seven books that belonged to my aunt, which she very kindly passed to me - they have family inscriptions inside.

Not a tough one for me and at the risk of being predictable (yet again!) I would save The Six Cousins at Mistletoe Farm (the edition i have at present is a 1995 reprint by Parragon books entitled "Animal Stories" that also contains "Six Cousins Again") and "The Mystery of Tally-Ho Cottage".

I'd save Adventures of the Wishing-Chair — mine is a first edition (which contains chapters that were cut out of the later editions) and it didn't come cheap!!! (It wasn't beyond what I could reasonably afford, but it was still the most I've ever paid for a single book.)

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)
