Dreadful, but not next door?

Post by Moonraker »

I picked up a copy of Those Dreadful Children for 15p at Oxfam this morning. The cover had children in Red-Indian costumes with one tied to a tree. This reminded me of The Boy Next Door. How coincidental.

I just had to check this out in the Book Listing. Funny how the covers remind us of other books.

This is true, but of course some of them were illustrated by the same illustrator, but not this book, as I too have had a look at it in the book listing.

One of the books there, At Seaside Cottage, has an inside cover, which could easily be George and Anne and Timmy playing in the sea. But I noticed that this illustrator is the same person who illustrated the Famous Five anyway.

Julian gave an exclamation and nudged George.
"See that? It's the black Bentley again. KMF 102!"
