The Cherry Tree Farm books, and Mistletoe Farm, where do Roddy and Melisande etc end up living, after they get their own farm? Is it Holly Farm or Cherry Tree? I NEED to know and (of course) can't find my copy of the book! The one where Roddy gets the dog and the *posh* mother makes him send it back, then eventually he is allowed to keep him (Bundle is it iir)

It's not Cherry Tree - that is a different series (Willow Farm & Willow farm again) than the 6 cousinsRowena wrote: Is it Holly Farm or Cherry Tree? Please help!

I think the dog's name is Tinker, and it is owned by Roddy at the end of the second 'Cousins' book, 'Six Cousins Again', when they are living on Holly Farm.
Roddy has previously loved the Mistletoe farm dog, Crackers, and wants a dog of his own, but when he gets a puppy his mother sends it away because it makes a mess.

Speaking of Willow Farm again, could someone tell me about this book, please? I mean the 3rd book in the series, titled More Adventures On Willow Farm.
Sorry, I've never heard of it, until today.

I've written reviews of all three books in the series, which can be read here:Bannerman65 wrote:Speaking of Willow Farm again, could someone tell me about this book, please? I mean the 3rd book in the series, titled More Adventures On Willow Farm.

I originally wrote these articles for the now defunct Green Hedges Magazine and they are analyses rather than reviews, so I'd better warn you that they give away the plots! More Adventures on Willow Farm deals with the family's second year of farming, in which they suffer a number of setbacks and learn from their experiences.

'Bundle' is the name of the spaniel in the 'Family at Red-roofs'. The children are out for a walk and find the puppy under a hedge, and the farmer allows them to keep him.

Thank you, Anita. I'll read your review, after I've gotten some sleep.
