Favourite character: George. Bold, daring, loyal, fiercely protective of those she loves and gives as good as she gets. Her devil-may-care attitude, stubborn obstinacy, hot temper and tendancy to be awkward and difficult if she doesn't like something are traits I'm all too familiar with. Of all Enid's characters she's the one I identify with most.
Favourite book: this for me is an impossible question as I can't choose between them. I love them all. I've said it before, Enid Blyton never wrote a bad book.
Favourite animal: Timmy and Shadow. I yearned for a dog as a child , one just like Tim or Shadow who would be always by my side, could do anything I wanted him to and would go everywhere with me. I wasn't allowed one and gave serious consideration to doing what George does, getting someone to keep one for me, or doing what many of Enid's characters do, keeping one hidden somewhere in secret.
