Tony is right, of course. Enid Blyton is practically unknown in the United States. Now, Noddy is well-known due to a children's television show. It was quite popular for awhile, but my own children are a bit older so I am unsure of it's current popularity. I don't believe the show references Enid Blyton except in the credits. I guess Madonna can be let off the hook for this one.

Her hair reminds me of George's in this pic - albeit a little longer.
