In the September issue of “Best of British” magazine, there is an interesting two page article about Enid Blyton. It is entitled “A Bob’s Life”. It is written by Claire Saul, who “admires the linguistic skills of Bobs, Enid Blyton’s beloved terrier”.

In the same magazine, there is an interesting two page article about the early 1950s BBC Radio series, Journey into Space. How well I remember listening to the cliff-hanging weekly half hour episodes. Wonderful!

I looked for that magazine in three shops earlier this afternoon, including a large WHSmith, but sadly none of them had it in stock.

I’m surprised that you weren’t able to find a copy in WHSmith, Anita. Perhaps you’ll have to order it.
