I'm still away, but my Dad said a humungous book has been delivered to my home address - I'm hoping it's the Untold Story.

My daughter has tried to buy the book from both and has had no luck... Looking at ebay it doesn't seem clear how one does go about ordering it!

My daughter did order it John - but then had a notification that it was unavailable and she was refunded her money. Seeing it still apparently available she reordered it but had a reply that it wasn't available. This time they did not take any money.

I don't understand this at all. Why isn't the book available if it has only just come out? Or if Amazon don't want to sell it for whatever reason, why is it listed on their website?

Looking at ebay it doesn't seem clear how one does go about ordering it!

There's a "Buy it now" button on the eBay listing, Ilsa, unless your daughter has already tried that and found it doesn't work!

I've just asked my son, rather cheekily, if he'd had any problems buying my birthday present and he said he had encountered the same problem as others have but his money has been refunded.
He did say he has now got me something else so I shall have to look on Ebay myself.

I had a reply from my Amazon enquiry as follows:

As the seller of the book, I had to cancel the order to dispatch a copy to you because Amazon is too slow in closing my account which I requested last month.
The book will soon be available on eBay and you can search for it and buy a copy at £20 plus postage and packaging

It would seem that with the link you posted on eBay, Anita, that listing has ended about six minutes before I went on there, so I guess he is currently setting up something else judging by his comments above.

Maybe your daughter purchased it Daisy.

I have just ordered the book via Anita's Ebay link. I have received a confirmation e-mail and also an e-mail from PayPal acknowledging my payment. The book is £20 plus £4.20 P&P. Expected delivery is Saturday May 29th.

It looks like it needs setting up for multiple copies to be available, not just the one.
