Laurence might not have any more details, and it's nice that he has shared what he knows with us.
One thing I was wondering is whether Enid Blyton knew Laurence's mother as Alison Green, or whether Alison had a different surname at the time (a woman may change her surname on marriage).

Yes, Anita it's very much possible-- a woman usually changes her surname after marriage.Anyway ,it was very nice of Laurence to share his thoughts with us.
