According to a recent report, Beaconsfield is 4th on the list of towns/villages with the most millionaires living there. Marlow is 6th on the list.
I wonder if Fatty and Co. would be in that bracket if the books were compared to today's figures?

millionaire, if so that would explain it.

Didn't they used to say you were a "paper millionaire"? (Still not 100% sure if it should be "...paper millionaire?"

Who was top, Katharine. As mentioned many big houses in Bourne End, Marlow etc, have probably been in certain families for years, and were no where near a million when bought!
