Yes, that was quite deliberate of course. I wanted to see if you still recognised them!
Seriously, as I was so slow on the update, that was my most common view of people
on the day. I did take a lot more back views but decided a little went a long way!

The company and tour sure did make up for it, it only started raining bad once I had finished and was waiting for the bus.

No, I'm fine thank you Anita, when you live in London and have to travel on jerky buses you get used to being thrown about or trodden on.

Shelly, it was lovely to meet you, and I'm sorry to hear you got caught in the rain. Mum and I were tempted to join you on the final visit, but had just about run out of steam. Just after we got on the train, the heavens opened, and the rain was rattling down the windows. We both said we hoped you had got to the station before it started.

Hi Katherine, It was lovely to meet you and your family too. It wouldn't have taken too much time to visit the last leg but as the rain came down just as I was waiting for the bus back to Clock House (I too had run out of steam by then) I was so glad that you guys weren't there, I'd have hated you to get soaked. Thankfully the weather was good to us for most of the day. You could have seen the last bits on the bus as it does go straight past, but only if you know what to look out for.

I've only been able to pop in via phone for short periods I don't get too much time to go on the internet via computer and the one I do go on is very slow computer, only managed to upload my photos to Facebook yesterday, which took two hours (it's taken about an hour to write and post this!). It's a pity there was no unveiling of the plaque in Chaffinch Road, I wonder if something will be done?

Is anyone going to the Beaconsfield event? There was some talk in Beckenham of people going in the 29th (tomorrow).
