I don't think you can, Katharine. The hosting site has shrunk them to fit the forums so to see the bigger version you'd have to see the original file.

I think Fiona is right that (unfortunately) the pictures can't be enlarged.

Its different with Photobucker, as it takes you to the original picture.
My pictures may be sorted and ready to show off by next week. I've had a busy week and even busier weekend as a friend from Ireland came over. So the laptop stayed at home with all the pictures on.
I'll have to be really selective. God knows how mnay picture I took! Fewer towards the end I think because I was babysitting!

I think it depends a bit on how they are loaded on photobucket. I only use photobucket for pictures that I am going to post on the forums and I resize everything before I load it to a maximum width size of 520, as that is all that the forums take. I can therefore copy all my pictures straight from photobucket onto the forums as they are already the right size.Pippa-Stef wrote:Its different with Photobucker, as it takes you to the original picture.
I am currently having problems with getting a good group photo of the Beckenham visit for the Journal as what I have been sent shows a group of unidentifiable matchsticks!
Just to prove my point, this is what I have and it can' be enlarged!
As this would be going onto an A4 page, it would of course be half this size in the Journal - using Julie's famous quote, 'Euston we have a problem'!

Tony, I took a group picture at Beckenham if you can wait til tomorrow (when I get home) I can send it over. The pictures on my camera are originally very big so it might be worth having a go with that?
Would that be acceptable?

Sadly, I took pictures of houses but not of fellow Blytonites. I was too busy chatting to people to think about photographing them - and besides, the houses were more likely to stay still!

Gosh! I hope the ones I sent you aren't the unidentifiable matchsticks, Tony! As they are all identifiable on my copies!Tony Summerfield wrote:

The size of your photos are fine, Julie, as you sent me the originals. The problem with your group is that they were not ready for the photo, several are looking elsewhere and some have their backs to the camera and are also blocking out other people. I think that you have already posted a copy above in this thread.
Stef, I have added to my post above since you posted, but yes, I can wait and a decent group would be great.

Susan, Francis and I were ready
Unfortunately I didn't get any people shots! I thought Angela Canning took a couple of group shots at Elfin Cottage, are those the matchstick ones?

I guess I should have shouted louder for people to look at the camera and stop gassing!

I couldn't have used your group photo anyway, Julie, as it hasn't got you in it - a little yellow ray of sunshine!

How nice to see the people who went - well some of them anyway. Good photos Francis! Thanks Fiona for getting them on here too.
