And today is supposed to be Mother's Day...

It was Mother's Day here in Germany! There was a major upset in our area because the flower shops were not allowed to open due to the fact that it was also Whit Sunday.... I imagine they lost quite a bit of money, unless of course people bought flowers for mother the day before....

Jane came flying into the room, shouting, "It's Mother's Day!". She thought she had forgotten! It clearly said Mother's Day on our calendar. Calm and relief regained its presence when I reminded her it had come and gone a couple of months ago.
