Did Enid receive any awards?

Me and my parents were discussing titles like Sir and Dame, etc, when I mentioned Jacqueline Wilson having received the title of Dame. As she is an author, I wondered whether Blyton ever received a title, which much to my disappointment, she did not
I find it rather unfair as in those days they did not perhaps see the occupation of an author for children to be given such a high award. What are your opinions on this? Will be interested to find out.
And do you know if not a Dame title or anything, if she received any other certificate and such like?
