It's great to see how fired up Enid Blyton still makes children! :D
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

(E. Blyton, Sunday Times, 1951)

Enid really knew what children wanted to read. :)

Julian gave an exclamation and nudged George.
"See that? It's the black Bentley again. KMF 102!"

It's lovely to read your letter, Anastasia. Enid Blyton wrote very quickly, her typing fingers hardly able to keep up with the story that flowed from her imagination, and she is known to have written some of her full-length books in only five days.

If you click on this link, it will take you to another part of our website which has information on Enid Blyton and her writing:
"Heyho for a starry night and a heathery bed!" - Jack, The Secret Island.

"There is no bond like the bond of having read and liked the same books."
- E. Nesbit, The Wonderful Garden.
