Enid Blyton always enjoyed inventing stories, Lea. When she was a girl, stories would come into her head as she lay awake in bed at night. She would also make up tales to entertain her little brothers.

Like Alicia, Enid loved playing tricks and jokes at school!

"There is no bond like the bond of having read and liked the same books."
- E. Nesbit, The Wonderful Garden.
