Well said Gary. Bannerman I think its time you showed a little bit of respect now, and leave the subject alone.

It seems to be a section of a programme looking back at 50 years of ITV, so I would imagine it will be shown on ITV. I can find no mention of it at itv.com but then it is a pretty poor website. I wouldn't have thought it would be part of Meridian Tonight or Thames Valley Tonight (or whatever it's called) but you never know. I have access to all ITV channels, so will be watching Thames Valley Tuesday evening.

My guess would be that it has been re-scheduled. I'll keep 'em peeled!

I think Bannermann has pointed up us important arguments in this more and more emotional becoming discussion.Very pity! One way or another
I can understand his point of view.
Not long ago I too had floated similar questions and hypotheses. But nagging and grousing dear Bannermann isn't the solution.Time will lay bare it relentlessly once day.
Give patience boy-and give respect for another people's emotional life.

...and Gary!?Why do you give us more and more testy replies conc. this Michele topic.
You'd almost think there is anything to hide!

With kind regards,
PP

Sometimes, trying to obtain basic information on the web these days is something of a struggle! Let's hope that the transmission time and channel become more evident prior to Tuesday 26th.

I am also in agreement here. Without wishing to prolong this aspect of the discussion, I feel that needless obsession reflects very badly on this forum. To discuss various aspects of a 30 year old TV series is fine, but that's as far as it should go.

Me too. I just don't know what right people think they have to intrude on a family's private grief. Just because the person in question appeared on a television programme doesn't make her public property. What is all this "something to hide" nonsense all about? If you found a gravestone I bet you'd want a DNA test on the remains.

For goodness sake let's drop it once and for all, if not least, out of respect for the family. Their late child is not public property.

It's actually looking back at 50 years of ITV in the South, so it might well be on tonight.

A bigger picture can be found here.

That's a better picture, one I can clearly see. Thanks for posting it Nigel. If you know what sky channel it is on, could you let us know. I would image we'll be able to receive it, just need a channel number. :D

I dont blame you. Some people definitely need to get out more. Thankfully its only one or two who persist in this disrespectful behaviour.

You can only access other ITV regions on Sky by adding the frequency to your Sky box. Unlike the BBC regions, they are not on the EPG (Electronic Progaramme Guide).

To add Meridian Thames Valley, do the following:

Select Services from your Sky Remote
Select System Set Up from the on-screen menu
Select Add Channels
Enter 12402 in the frequency box (the number already there will be replaced)
Enter V for polarity
Enter 27.5 for Symbol Rate
Enter 2/3 for FEC
Press Select

You will then see a screen with some ITV regions listed, press the yellow button to store them

Press Select then press Services again

Select Other Channels and the stored ITV regions will be there. Select the one to watch.

For Meridian South, the frequencies are:

10891 - H - 22.0 - 5/6

If you want to add all the ITV regions, go to Wildsat for the frequencies.

Gosh, it all sounds like some Enid Blyton secret code :D

Thanks Nigel, duly written down, and will be tested. I'll eat the evidence once complete :D

It's much harder to describe what to do than to actually do it. Trouble is, St Austell is a long way from Salisbury!
