I am not sure what relevance Tyneham has to Enid Blyton? I went and looked round it about 40 years ago, very exciting, rather like a Famous Five adventure as it was strictly off limits and according to the signs it was an MOD firing range. This struck me as fairly unlikely as there were animals grazing in the fields and even more unlikely when I reached the village as although the entire place was in ruins, the church was in immaculate condition.
