Can only see it if a clear day and standing on the white cliffs.. but a bit cold at the moment with snow.... and us city girls dont like the cold.. have fun julie (jo)

Isn't it the English Channel?

I believe it is about 20 miles (30k), so should be viewable on a clear day. Of course, if PP were to look across the North Sea, he might not be able to see France!

Between Cap Gris-Nez and Dover there is a distance about 35 km. Isn't it???
I had misestimated very roughly and have been looking up at Wikipedia.
